Montana Food and Agriculture Development Center Network

The Montana Food and Agriculture Development Center (FADC) Network helps Montanans start, grow, and strengthen businesses in food, agriculture, and renewable energy. With Centers located across the state, we work directly with entrepreneurs, producers, and community-based businesses to:
- Identify needs
- Connect to resources
- Provide expert guidance
- Support innovation and growth
- Provide expert guidance
- Connect to resources
Whether you're launching a new product, expanding your farm operation, or exploring value-added opportunities, the FADC Network is here to help. If one Center doesn’t have the answer, we’ll connect you with someone who does—locally or nationally. All services are free of charge. By working with us, you gain access to a statewide team, national networks, and personalized business support.
Each Food and Agriculture Development Center offers core services including business planning, networking at all levels, access to financing, grant support, regulatory guidance, and assistance with state and federal programs—including Farm to School initiatives. Across the Network, additional expertise includes product development and testing, market research, food safety training, cooperative development, and education on industry trends and technologies.
