Hail Insurance Rates
Hail insurance coverage maximums for 2026 have been set by the Montana State Hail Insurance Board at $75 per acre for non-irrigated crops and $114 an acre for irrigated crops. Rates charged are a percentage of the insured amount and vary by county according to the hail loss history of the area.
