New grants for Meat & Poultry Processors - Flower Hill & FADC Network Technical Assistance session

The Montana Food and Agriculture Development Center Network will host a technical assistance session with Flower Hill Institute on June 15, 11 AM – 12 PM.

The session will cover new grant opportunities for meat and poultry processors, specifically the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service Local Meat Capacity Grant [ams.usda.gov] (Local MCap) Indigenous Animals Harvesting and Meat Processing Grant Program [usda.gov] (IAG).

The Flower Hill Institute is the Coordinator for the USDA’s Meat and Poultry Processing Capacity - Technical Assistance (MPPTA) Program.  They work closely with AMS and other TA Providers to connect meat and poultry processors, USDA grant applicants, and grant-funded project managers to the resources and expertise best suited to support a project’s needs.

This session will cover eligible activities, scoring criteria, and Q/A from prospective applicants.
