COVID-19 Information

Governor's Directive providing for the mandatory use of face coverings in certain settings

  • Except as provided in section 4 of the Directive, all businesses, government offices, or other persons responsible for indoor spaces open to the public shall require and take reasonable measures to ensure that all employees, contractors, volunteers, customers, or other members of the public wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while entering or remaining in any indoor spaces open to the public.
  • Except as provided in section 4 of the Directive, for any organized outdoor activity where social distancing is not possible or is not observed, sponsors shall require and take reasonable measures to ensure that all persons attending an organized outdoor activity wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times.

COVID-19 RELIEF FUND 

MT Meat Processing Improvement Grant

$150,000 available to small and medium-sized businesses for adaptation and expansion of meat processing infrastructure and capacity in Montana.

 

MT Agriculture Adaptability Program

$10,000 available to small and medium-sized food and agriculture businesses for adaptation and diversification in response to COVID-19.

Social Distancing

MDA staff are practicing social distancing as recommended by public health experts. This includes:

  • Teleworking
  • Cancellation of all in-person pesticide re-certification training until further notice
  • Cancellation of Pesticide License Testing until further notice
  • Maintaining an acceptable social distance and wearing masks while performing field work.
