Capitol Square Farmers Market Celebrates National Farmers Market Week
The Capitol Square Farmers Market is celebrating National Farmers Market Week on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. at its usual location in the South Oval of Montana’s State Capitol.
“Montana farmers markets connect market-goes with fresh, local foods, and provide hardworking producers across the state with another way to showcase their quality, made in Montana products. Every community benefits from having a farmers market,” said Governor Greg Gianforte.
During the August 3rd Capitol Square Farmers Market, vendors will share MT Dept. of Agriculture shopping totes with customers while supplies last, plus attendees can enter to win a prize by guessing the weight of a pig from XX Bar Farm & Ranch, stretch out during the free yoga class led by The Gentle Healing Center, and participate in other fun activities that support Montana farmers markets!
The Capitol Square Farmers Market is a joint project of the General Services Division of the Department of Administration and the Department of Agriculture that takes place in the South Oval of Montana’s State Capitol on Tuesdays from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. June – September.
