Pests and Pest Management
The Agricultural Sciences Division (ASD), of the Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA), has a responsibility to serve Montana agriculture and protect the environment and the health of the state's citizens by regulating the proper use of pesticides. Toward this end, the ASD administers the licensing of pesticide applicators and dealers, registration of pesticide products , certification and training of pesticide applicators and dealers and enforcement of pesticide laws and regulations.
The ASD also provides services and assistance in several areas related to pesticides and pest management:
