Ground Water Protection Program

The Ground Water Protection Program samples ground water and surface water across the state to determine the presence of pesticides and fertilizers. The program has a permanent network of 42 monitoring wells. In addition, investigative and special projects are conducted in vulnerable areas, watersheds, and urban environments.
