Is there any cost to list my hay? |
No, the entire service is entirely free of charge. |
|
Some web sites allow people to enter information into a database directly on the site itself, can I do that? |
No. At this time the department doesn't have the capacity to allow people to enter their listings in the database through the web site itself, we enter the listings manually onto our Hay Hotline database. |

When I find
hay I want to buy, do I need to contact the Montana Department of Agriculture,
or do I contact the producer directly.
|
It is not necessary to alert the department to hay sales or purchases, however, we would like to know when hay is no longer for sale so we can keep our listings accurate and current. |
