Montana State Hail Insurance Rates
Hail insurance coverage maximums for 2008 have been set by the Montana State Hail Insurance Board at $50 per acre for non-irrigated crops and $76 an acre for irrigated crops. Rates charged are a percentage of the insured amount and vary by county according to the hail loss history of the area. Zones identify the rates, as follows:
