Course Registration and Tracking of Credits

Pesticide applicators are required to obtain a certain number of education credits to qualify for relicensing, depending on the license category. One way to track your credits is through the use of the department's web application that is listed under Links below. Licensed Applicators, and Dealers, can view courses approved for their license category and they can also enter their license number to view the recertification credits that they have accumulated in the current period.




2014 Fall Core Recertification Training- All dealers and commercial/government categories, 4 credits

All locations are FULL at this time; no additional registrations can be accepted. Please visit the website "Pesticides.mt.gov" to find additional trainings offered for the remainder of 2014.




It's never too early to plan. We have several new training opportunities coming in 2015. Registration will open late December.

  • Exciting changes for Pesticide Training!
    • MDA now offers and approves one (1) credit training opportunities. Check the "Approved Courses" for current listings
    • New online courses are available! Fees range from FREE to $25 per credit, depending on the sponsor. Please note: there is a 6 credit maximum for online training in one recertification cycle. You may take as many online trainings as you wish, however only 6 credits will count toward your required 12 credits.
