Made in Montana pavilion at the Billings Market Association show

September, Billings

The Made in Montana program at the Montana Department of Commerce is offering an opportunity for members who have previously attended the Made in Montana Marketplace to try out the Billings Market at a minimal cost.  The Made in Montana Program has purchased booth space for this show and the Billings Market Association is allowing us to invite up to six (6) Montana companies to share that space to “test” the market.  Each company will have a 4’ table for exhibiting their product in the shared booth space at a cost of $65. The Billings Market is considered a “regional market” and draws buyers from stores from the Dakotas, Wyoming, Idaho, and Colorado. The show is 4 days long and is only open to wholesale buyers (typically gift and convenience stores). For more information about the Billings Market go to: http://www.billingsmarketassoc.com/. To register, or for more information, contact MadeInMontana@mt.gov or, 406-841-2757.

Montana Fresh - From Farm to Fork

October, TBD

The Montana Restaurant Association, Montana Department of Agriculture, and Montana Department of Commerce (Made in Montana program) are exploring the option of hosting a tradeshow in the Fall of 2014 to promote to restaurants products that are grown and raised in Montana (e.g. beef, pasta, jam, bread, etc.). The two-day tradeshow would be a venue through which Montana food ingredient growers and manufacturers (vendors) could market their products to Montana wholesale food distributors and restaurants (buyers). This show, as are all wholesale shows, would not be open to the public. Vendors must be the grower or manufacturer of the product (co-ops accepted).  More information on this event will be posted as it becomes available.  With questions or interest, contact Linda Howard, 406-444-5425, lhoward@mt.gov.
