Many factors are driving the growth of the pulse industry in Montana. One factor is improved availability of information. Lentil fields are colored red. Pea fields are colored green. Dry beans and chickpeas are colored maroon. Other non-forage field crops are shown in gray, and fallow cropland is shown in a light shade of gray.
