Policies may be purchased at the Property Assessment Division of the Department of Revenue in any county until August 15th. Be sure and bring your field information including section number, township and range. A worksheet is available for this purpose at the bottom of this page. If you can’t go to your local county office you can fax or phone your information into the local office or the state hail program office.

Policies can be paid for in three ways – cash which gives the producer a 4 percent discount, charged using a crop lien or charged to the producers’ real estate taxes. When charged to real estate the premium is due on November 30th. It will be billed with your Livestock per capita fees.
