The 28-page instructional guide (linked below) is recommended reading before use of the Excel spreadsheet models that can help producers decide on crop rotations that are likely to be profitable for their soils and climate.
Models are available for dryland and irrigated crop rotations by region. Use link in left navigation for Models.
Other useful information includes copies of recent PowerPoint presentations regarding the crop rotation models and decisions to include new crops in a rotation, as well as handouts that contain links to additional information sources.
