Groundwater Monitoring for Pesticides and Nitrate
The Groundwater Protection Program samples groundwater and surface water across the state to determine the presence of pesticides and fertilizers. The program has a permanent network of 42 monitoring wells. In addition, investigative and special projects are conducted in vulnerable areas, watersheds, and urban environments.
