Course Approval for Continuing Education Credits

 
Out Door Training

An organization, association, industry group, state and federal agencies, and individual applicators can submit a training course for consideration of Montana Continuing Education credits. All courses need to provide a balanced program for applicators and dealers, which means courses should include at least 4-5 of the 8 items in the Standards for Pesticide Training (see link below). For sponsors providing yearly training, this balance can be achieved over an extended time frame (3-4 years). Montana now accepts submittals for online trainings and webinars!

 

Course information must be submitted through our ePass online system. Please refer to the following instructions to request continuing education credits for courses and trainings. Supporting documents can be found below.

 

 Online Submittals (all documents are found in the links below)

 

  1. Review the "Instructions to Setup ePass Account" below
  2. Once your ePass account is established, go to the "Industry Sponsors/County Agents Login" link below and login to ePass.
  3. Enter your course information. 
  4. Upload a copy (pdf) of the program agenda, brochure, etc. with presentation titles, desciption of material to be presented, and times for each presentation.
  5. Submit your request at least 30 days before the course date.
  6. If approved, you will receive an emailed approval letter stating the number of credits and applicable categories along with instructions for entering your attendees once your course is complete. 

 

To request recertification credits for private applicator training courses contact the local county Extension office in your area.
