Trade Show Assistance Program

The Trade Show Assistance Program (TSAP) aids qualified Montana agricultural companies with developing new and existing markets by supplementing exhibiting costs at U.S. wholesale trade shows. TSAP support includes reimbursement for 50% of booth space and related exhibiting expenses, such as shipping, drayage, decorating, and electricity, up to $2,500.




To qualify for TSAP funding, the Applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicant’s company or product provides an economic impact to Montana’s agricultural industry;
  • This is the first time Applicant will exhibit at the trade show in an individual (not shared) booth;
  • Trade show is outside the state of Montana;
  • Trade show is for business-to-business (wholesale) customers; and
  • Target audience of the show must be consistent with the company's marketing plans and goals.




Applications for the Trade Show Assistance Program will be accepted June 1st at 2:00 p.m. and December 1st at 2:00 p.m. of this year.

Businesses that do not qualify for the Department of Agriculture's Trade Show Assistance Program may qualify for the Montana Department of Commerce's trade show program.
